What we collect

Votes. When you vote we store which answer you picked, the country your vote came from (worked out by our host, Cloudflare, from your connection; we do not store your IP address) and a random ID kept in your browser so you can only vote once per poll.

Accounts. If you sign in with Google to make polls, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use them only to sign you in and link the polls you make to you.

Polls. The questions and answers you write. Published polls and their results are public.

Payments. If you upgrade, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't share your email or name with other users. Results are only ever shown as totals.

Ads and cookies

The site may show ads from Google AdSense, which can use cookies to show and measure ads. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. We also keep a few items in your browser's local storage (your voter ID and which answers you picked).

Where data is stored

Accounts, polls and votes are stored with Supabase in the EU. The website is served by Cloudflare.

Deleting your data

You can delete any poll you made, together with all its votes, from the Make a poll page. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we'll remove it.
